AI Scam Protection

An AI-assisted feature meant to flag suspicious messages, calls, or sites linked to fraud attempts.

AI Scam Protection is an AI-assisted security feature designed to detect signs of fraud in messages, phone calls, emails, websites, or payment prompts. It typically looks for patterns associated with phishing, impersonation, urgent-money requests, fake delivery notices, credential harvesting, and other social-engineering tactics.

This matters because many attacks bypass malware defenses and target the user directly. A scam filter can warn before someone clicks a malicious link, shares a password, approves a transfer, or enters recovery codes on a fake site. In defense, these tools act as decision support: they can score risk, highlight suspicious language, and block known scam infrastructure. In attacks, criminals try to evade them by using short-lived domains, normal-looking text, and AI-written messages. AI Scam Protection helps reduce risk, but it is not proof of safety; users still need to verify requests through trusted channels.
