Cyber Dialogue

a structured meeting focused on cyber policy, cooperation, and coordination.

A Cyber Dialogue is a structured meeting where governments or organizations discuss cyber policy, cooperation, and coordination. It provides a forum to align priorities, raise concerns, and maintain working relationships on issues such as cyber threats, incident response, and digital security.

In cybersecurity, recurring dialogues can build trust and clarify how partners communicate during an incident. They may lead to practical measures such as information-sharing procedures, contact points, escalation paths, or joint exercises. A meeting alone does not prove that any such measures were agreed or implemented: its security value depends on concrete follow-through. Cyber Dialogues are therefore a form of cyber diplomacy and governance, supporting-but not replacing-technical defenses and operational response.
