In medicine, trattamento infiltrativo means a localized therapy in which a substance is injected into a specific tissue area. In cyber security, the term is not standard, but it usefully describes a targeted action applied to one narrow part of a system rather than to the whole environment. That idea matters because precision reduces disruption and helps limit the “blast radius” of both attacks and defenses.
In real attacks, the closest cyber equivalent is a focused injection or implantation step, such as placing malicious code into a process, script, or device component. In defense, it resembles localized remediation: isolating one endpoint, removing a payload from one service, or applying a fix to a single vulnerable module. The core principle is the same in both fields: act exactly where the problem is, and avoid unnecessary collateral damage.
