Single Reporting Platform (SRP)

The EU reporting channel used for certain CRA vulnerability and incident notifications.

The Single Reporting Platform (SRP) is the EU’s central reporting channel for certain Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) vulnerability and incident notifications. It gives manufacturers and other covered actors one place to submit security reports instead of handling each disclosure through separate national or ad hoc processes. In practice, SRP is part of the compliance workflow for documenting what was found, when it was reported, and how it was handled.

SRP matters because reporting is a security control, not just a legal formality. A reliable reporting path helps organizations coordinate product security teams, legal staff, and incident responders, while also creating evidence that vulnerabilities were escalated and communicated properly. In real attacks, an exploited flaw may trigger a mandatory notification through SRP; in defense, the same platform supports orderly disclosure, triage, and tracking of remediation. For vendors, using SRP correctly reduces ambiguity and helps turn vulnerability handling into a repeatable, auditable process.
