Cyber Intelligence & Threat Trends
SPF (Sender Policy Framework) and DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) are email authentication methods that help protect against email spoofing and phishing. SPF allows domain owners to specify which mail servers are authorized to send emails on their behalf, making it harder for attackers to send fake emails from that domain. DKIM adds a digital signature to outgoing emails, which receiving servers can verify to ensure the message hasn’t been altered during transit. Together, SPF and DKIM help ensure that emails are both sent from legitimate sources and have not been tampered with, improving email security and trust.
